Growing up I moved from Illinois to New Jersey for 2 years. During those 2 years we lived in the “hang out” house. All the neighborhood kids would come over for constant games of whiffle ball and hide and seek.
My mom was awesome and always made 100 of these popsicles to keep us refreshed. And they are super inexpensive AND EASY to make!
Jell-O popsicles (from my mom!)
1 c. boiling water
1 package Jell-O powder (any flavor)
2 c. lemonade
The recipe says lemonade, but so far I’ve made these with OJ and Hawaiian Punch (since that’s all I had laying around the house) and they have turned out amazing!
Combine Jell-O powder with boiling water.
You can freeze them in ice cube trays with toothpicks for handles, but those are pretty flimsy.
They work better in 3oz. paper cups, using popsicle sticks for handles.
I bought these fancy popsicle makers, and those work too!
The best part is, you’re only using 2 ingredients, and you can make a zillion flavors! Strawberry Jell-O and lemonade, Strawberry Jell-O and cranberry juice … the mixtures are endless!
