Taken: Animal Kingdom
When: June 2013
Backstory: My fiance and I on a rollercoaster (Primeval Whirl) at Animal Kingdom. I’m fake screaming, but he might be screaming for real (he’s never been on this ride before).
I just really, REALLY love that my arm is entwined with his arm, and he’s holding my hand. Not staged at all. We’re just cute like that.
And on the next shelf down is …
… a bunch of junk!
Chris had this green turtle from a family vacation a few years back. So when we went to Cozumel on a cruise, I bought a girly version! I would consider using them as my wedding toppers, but I’m guessing frosting would ruin them.
I saw these 4 candle holders at a random store, and I couldn’t take my eyes off of them. I’ve never once used them to decorate anything … but I still love them!

Backstory: I don’t have many photos of me as a kid, but I do have this one. It makes me laugh every time. Check out my yellow rubber boots! Check out my brother’s belted snowsuit. And what a sweet old school sled!
Did I mention I live in Florida now? This photo explains why. Brrrrrrrr!
I fell in love with Root photography when I saw their photos of Carrie & Patrick getting married at Epcot. They just shot Carrie & Patrick’s 5 year anniversary, so I guess I’ve been a loyal Root groupie for 5 years! I can’t wait to get married to possibly hire them!
Enjoy Root Photography!

Backstory: I’m not really into the classic “couply” photos. Or, maybe I just feel bad for my boyfriend. He can’t possibly enjoy “couply” photos. So I sneak them in anytime I can! I’d rank this photo a big success!!
I’m pretty un-girly. I don’t own a lot of pink. I don’t like romantic movies. I’m wearing sweatpants shorts right now.
However, my DIY answer to everything seems to be “add a felt heart to it!”
I think it all started with this pintrest find and I thought, “I can make that!”
Last year I bought a dark and ominous t-shirt from Wal-Mart and I tried to liven it up! I feel a little “Queen of Hearts” in this t-shirt.
Up next was a “way too small” sweater, so I made it into a cardigan … and added a heart!
Another boring cardigan that I wanted to liven up! (my gosh, taking photos of myself is HORRIBLE!)
I really liked sewing on this purple heart using all different colored thread. I thought I was cool.
And the finale – grandma sweater turned hipster-ish!

Backstory: While talking a long walk near the Disney resort (Aulani) in Hawaii, I found this tree. It spoke to me. It’s language is love. (that was sooooo cheesy!) But seriously, it’s a pretty cool tree.
